Stefani Wylie, MSPT, CERT MD
A licensed Physical Therapist specializing in sports-related orthopedic injuries. She grew up in the Dallas area playing select soccer. She went on to play collegiate soccer at Southern Methodist University, where she was a 4 year starter. During her collegiate years she was selected to be on the United States National Soccer Pool Team. She went on to play semi professional soccer after college and has 2 national titles with that team. Along with her soccer career, she has finished 4 marathons.
Stefani has Masters of Science in Exercise Physiology and Physical Therapy. She has her personal training certification from Cooper Clinic in Dallas. She, along with a partner, has developed, implemented, and performed research on their Sports Injury Prevention Programs. This program prevents Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) Injuries for all athletic venues. The Research data for the ACL prevention program was finished in November of 2004. This research has been accepted to the Puerto Rico Health Sciences Journal and Published in January of 2010. She finished her second research project with her ACL prevention program in December 2006.
Stefani is working toward getting her Spine Specialist in Manual Therapy. She has complete her MDT certification for Mckenzie and has been accepted into the diploma program for Mckenzie. Only 20 applicants are accepted world wide each year. During the diploma program she will be working with some of the top physical therapists in the profession for 9 weeks.
In clinic, she has treated athletes from young kids to college and professional athletes. Stefani took care of the professional athletes in need of physical therapy for the Dallas Sidekicks Professional Indoor Soccer Team and the Women’s Professional Basketball Team called the Dallas Fury. |

Sandra LeFevers, MPT
Has been a Physical Therapist at TexStar since 2007. She graduated from Texas Woman’s University in 1984 with a BS in Physical Therapy. After graduating, she returned to a local community hospital where she worked in the in-patients and out-patients departments. While there, she became involved in the Functional Capacity Testing and Work Hardening programs. She was then asked to come to Advanced Orthopedic/Nova Care, where she worked for 8 years, primarily as team member of the Work Hardening program, conducting Functional Capacity assessments and helping physicians determine impairment ratings. After having her third son, she spent the next 11 years doing contract work in various facilities in the Dallas area. She returned to full time work at the Texas Back Institute in the out-patient and Functional Capacity testing areas before joining the team at TexStar. |

Maggie Smith - Business Office Manager
Our Office Manager. She has been in the medical field since 1996 and with TexStar Physical Therapy since the clinic opened in 2004.
When she is not in the office helping patients with scheduling and insurance needs, she is spending time with her family and her husband, Nathan. She also attends school part-time and aspires for a career in Medical Imaging. |

Jennifer Jared Graduated from East Central University in 2000 with a B.S. in Mass Communications.
She worked for 2½ years at a Dallas advertising agency. After deciding advertising was not for her, she then tried on many different hats and lived all over Dallas, Collin, Rockwall and Denton counties. She has been at TexStar since May 2009 as a Physical Therapist Technician and says it is her favorite job of all.
When she is not hard at work, she sings and spends time with her family and two dogs. She is a part-time student taking prerequisite courses toward attending graduate school in psychology. |
